Glen Nevis Restaurant Embraces Inclusivity with British Sign Language Phrase of the Week

At Glen Nevis Restaurant, we believe in creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all our guests. As part of our commitment to enhancing communication and understanding, we are excited to introduce our new initiative: the British Sign Language (BSL) Phrase of the Week.

Our team is dedicated to making everyone feel at home, and this new initiative is a step towards greater inclusivity. Each week, all our staff members will learn a new BSL phrase. This effort, led by our Learning and Development Champion Lauren and Assistant Manager Carol, aims to improve our ability to communicate with deaf and hard-of-hearing customers, ensuring they have a positive and enjoyable experience at our restaurant.

From greetings to common phrases used in dining, our staff will be continuously expanding their BSL vocabulary.
