Visit Glen Nevis

Few restaurants enjoy a setting quite like this.

Located in the heart of Glen Nevis, just minutes from the Ben Nevis Visitor Centre, we’re perfectly placed for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a well-earned drink after a day outdoors.

Leave the car behind and explore the glen on foot, discover forest trails, follow the River Nevis or simply take in the scenery before joining us for something to eat.

Glen Nevis has a fantastic range of walks and hiking routes for all levels of ability. Whether you want to climb Ben Nevis, explore a forest or amble along a riverside you'll find a walk that's right for you!

Glen Nevis Restaurant & Bar is a short walk from Glen Nevis Visitor Centre and the starting point of the tourist path up Ben Nevis. We are also ideally placed for forest walks and a lovely circular route alongside the River Nevis.

The website walkhighlands.co.uk is a great resource for walking and hiking in the Highlands. You can find details of routes in and around Glen Nevis here: http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/fortwilliam/fortwilliam.shtml.

Cycling

The main road going up Glen Nevis is fairly quiet so great for cyclists and there is an excellent network of forestry tracks near the restaurant which have no traffic and are cyclist-friendly.

Before You Enquire

Booking Times

Due to the size of our restaurant and service requirements, larger group bookings can usually only be accommodated at the beginning or end of our evening service. Our preferred group booking times are 5:00pm and 8:00pm. Please let us know your preferred time and we will advise on availability.

Payment

Please be aware that we are unable to split bills for group bookings. The balance must be settled in a single transaction.

Table Duration

Tables are allocated for a maximum of 2 hours from the reservation time unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Deposit Requirement

For groups of 10 guests or more, a £10 per person deposit is required to secure the booking. Deposits help protect against no-shows and late cancellations, which can prevent other guests from booking and impact staffing arrangements. The full deposit amount will be deducted from your final bill on the day of your visit.

Pre-Orders

For groups of 10 guests or more, we require a food pre-order to help ensure efficient service and minimise waiting times. A pre-order form will be sent following confirmation of your booking. Completed pre-orders must be returned at least 48 hours before your reservation. We do not require pre-orders for drinks.

Just a Heads Up! To keep things smooth and speedy, we’re unable to split bills. One tab, one awesome experience!
