We are a short drive or 40 minute walk from Fort William and are perfectly placed to enjoy the dramatic views of Ben Nevis and the surrounding mountains and forests. Our customers are welcome to leave their cars with us while they explore Glen Nevis on the many nearby footpaths.

Walking & Hiking

Glen Nevis has a fantastic range of walks and hiking routes for all levels of ability. Whether you want to climb Ben Nevis, explore a forest or amble along a riverside you'll find a walk that's right for you!

Glen Nevis Restaurant & Bar is a short walk from Glen Nevis Visitor Centre and the starting point of the tourist path up Ben Nevis. We are also ideally placed for forest walks and a lovely circular route alongside the River Nevis.

Cycling

The main road going up Glen Nevis is fairly quiet so great for cyclists and there is an excellent network of forestry tracks near the restaurant which have no traffic and are cyclist-friendly.

Hey there — welcome to Campfire Kitchen!

We’re a laid-back outdoor kitchen at the bottom of Ben Nevis, serving up proper good food in the fresh Highland air. Whether you're just starting your day with breakfast or ending it with something warm and satisfying, we’ve got you covered.

Campfire kitchen is open daily for breakfast April - September 8am-11am offering a selection of hot rolls, porridge and pastries.

In May we then open daily for evening service 5pm-8.45pm with the return of our favourite fish and chips plus lots more.

The Glen Nevis Market is now open! Come out and enjoy the sunshine while supporting local businesses and treating yourself to something special!
